Posted on 06 October 2021 by cradmin

Corian® Design launched eight new colors for its Corian Quartz Portfolio for interior spaces and architecture. Additionally, two existing colors are now available in a leathered finish. Corian Design has also unveiled a new, low sheen matte finish. These colors of Corian Quartz are commercially available, with the full color palette now including approximately 50 colors.

The new colors are divided into several unique collections; Cements, Darks, and two standalone colors, as well as new leathered finishes of polished colors.

Additional information about the new colors include:

Cements – Inspired by a rugged industrial style yet refined with a subtle matte finish, the colors were designed to stand on their own or to be paired with other industrial-inspired looks in Corian® Solid Surface and Corian® Endura™ high-performance porcelain, to create a multi-material design.

  • Neutral Cement (matte finish) – Industrial in inspiration, warm and comfortable in execution, the light beige color lifts the visual weight and quiets the patterning within.
  • Carbon Cement (matte finish) – A bold industrial statement, the almost black hue with bold monochromatic movement offers a darker option for dramatic design.

Leathered – Part of the growing leathered collection, these leathered aesthetics stand on their own or can be coordinated with their glossy counterparts.

  • Ashen Gray Leathered (leathered finish) – A leathered version of a top-selling polished color with subtle veining on a light gray background.
  • Stratus Leathered (leathered finish) – A leathered version of a top-selling polished color with quiet touches of gray and beige on a cream background.

Dark – Available in matte and polished finishes, these aesthetics are designed to lift black from a classic color to an extraordinary presence.

  • Ironstone (matte finish) – Dark, warm gray with fine white veins, which invokes subtle strength.
  • Night Soapstone (matte finish) – Threadlike white veins on a black background, for those looking for a soapstone look with the durability of Corian Quartz.
  • Black Goldstone (polished finish) – Fine gold-colored veining on a deep black background, a surface that gleams with presence.
  • Tahitian Sand (polished finish) – A confident and strong polished monochromatic surface with ultra-fine grains.

Alabaster Terrazzo (polished finish) – Mid-century inspired with unique, light-catching translucent quartz crystals, the distinct, premium Terrazzo aesthetic adds style and whimsy to any design space.

Beige Royale (polished finish) – Warm subtle patterning, muted veins and particles create a surface that embraces multiple styles and design possibilities.

The company states that Corian Quartz is made with high-quality quartz crystals and is a durable, stain resistant, high-performance surface that survives the impact of daily wear and tear while retaining its good looks. Offering design flexibility in a wide range of vibrant colors, Corian Quartz is suitable for countertops, bars, backsplashes and other applications.

Caesarstone Launches Online Estimator/Project Management Tool: Caesarstone Connect

Posted on 29 September 2021 by cradmin

Caesarstone, a developer and manufacturer of engineered quartz surfaces, recently launched its new Caesarstone Connect™ platform. The company stated that this first-of-its-kind integrated online estimator and project management tool immediately delivers a detailed per square foot price quote (that includes material, fabrication and installation costs) and seamlessly connects projects to certified Caesarstone fabricators. The process can take just minutes and is available for any Caesarstone application including countertops, backsplashes, bathroom vanities and more, providing a consumer with transparent pricing within a detailed quote. It also empowers retailers and designers to provide customers with immediate, on-the-spot pricing for custom countertops.

According to the company Caesarstone Connect is a revolutionary way to help a consumer customize and purchase a fully installed Caesarstone surface, from inspiration to installation. Retailers simply input measurements and select from any of Caesarstone’s colors, edge details and other ancillary items to create a quote. Once the quote is accepted by the customer and converted to an order, it is sent directly to a certified Caesarstone fabrication partner who confirms measurements, fabricates and installs the Caesarstone surface.

The Caesarstone Connect online platform also manages the project from start to finish, so retailers can know the status of the project at any given point. Homeowners also receive frequent updates from the platform throughout the process. Workmanship is guaranteed via the Caesarstone certified fabricator network, and a dedicated team of specialists is always available to answer questions.

Caesarstone Connect has already launched in several U.S. market areas and is scheduled to be more widely available by fourth quarter 2021.

Cosentino Presents A New Image for Silestone

Posted on 14 May 2021 by cradmin

Cosentino has announced the brand renewal of its benchmark brand, Silestone. The new corporate identity symbolizes both an external and internal transformation that will continue to inspire people through innovative and sustainable spaces and values based on innovation, responsibility and humanity.

As part of the thorough rebranding strategy that will emphasize the importance of life in the different areas of the home and generate communication points aimed at a new generation, Silestone launched a fresh, powerful logo. Transparency and responsibility inherent in the brand’s DNA, and the company itself, are at the root of the new look. Cosentino’s Image and Brand Team, in collaboration with the independent consultancy Nadie, developed the typeface to deliver more experiential and emotional characteristics.

Details such as a 15-degree angle and graphical elements of each letter in the typography complement the design with a modern, simplistic approach. It conveys a new, fresher and youthful universe, taking the brand into new spheres of design.

The graphic design is an evolution from the previous version, maintaining the isotype + type structure, as well as the endorsement of Cosentino. The isotype continues to use its well-known “S”, interpreted with a fresher and simplified design. Applications of the design will make it a memorable icon with versatility for broad future usage in videos, textures or patterns. For the first time, the isotype is presented in two colours – Pantone® Warm Red C, an evolved shade of red, and Pantone® 629 CP, a light blue – to reflect the application or thematic area.

This innovative logo will now be used on all brand campaigns, marketing materials and digital environments, and will be present in the upcoming launches of new color collections.

The company stated that this new visual identity aligns with the sustainable attributes of Silestone, thanks to the exclusive HybriQ® technology. Developed and launched in 2020 by Cosentino, HybriQ is a technological innovation that sets a new standard in the surfaces category for architecture and design, changing the paradigm of the quartz surface market.

According to the company HybriQ uses a new hybrid formulation of mineral raw materials with equal or better performance than quartz, synthetic minerals and materials of a recycled origin. This makes it possible to reduce the use of crystalline silica in the composition of Silestone by 50 percent, achieving a reduction of up to 90 percent for some colors. With this new composition, Cosentino creates Silestone with the same mechanical and technical performance, maintaining all quality and hygiene certifications and an appearance that retains its timeless beauty while also providing new design possibilities, in-depth translucency and blurring effects.
