Vadara Announces New Exclusive Distribution Partnerships

Vadara Quartz Surfaces, a manufacturer of artisan, handcrafted quartz surfaces, has announced its new and exclusive distribution and sales partnership with the European Granite & Marble Group (European) and Marva, divisions of Trajus Surfaces.

Founded in 1990, European proudly supports architects, interior designers, developers, contractors and homeowners seeking versatile and unique solutions for projects. Starting in June 2021, Vadara quartz will be available in European’s New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania territories.

“The duo partnership is exciting for Marva and European. We are thrilled to offer such high-grade and beautiful quartz to our clientele,” stated Mario Persico, president of Trajus Surfaces.

With more than 30 years of industry service, Marva is well-positioned for this exclusive partnership. The company uses in-house fabricators to ensure slabs are refinished to the standard their clientele have come to expect. The distributor will offer Vadara quartz in its Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C. and West Virginia territories, effective June 2021.

CaraGreen & OHM Announce Joint Sales & Marketing Partnership

CaraGreen Healthy Materials and OHM International have announced their joint sales and marketing partnership. OHM will leverage its distribution infrastructure and brick and mortar locations and showrooms throughout the East Coast with CaraGreen’s strong virtual and online presence, as well as their showrooms and warehouses throughout the East Coast.

OHM’s extensive relationships in the Kitchen and Bath space coupled with CaraGreen’s focus on securing Architect and Designer specifications will create a unique opportunity for both partners to leverage their strengths for select brands within their portfolios.

Brands that OHM offers that will now be promoted by CaraGreen to the Architect and Designer Community include Geoluxe Pyrolithic Stone, Enigma Surfaces and Diresco Bio-UV Quartz. In turn, OHM will be promoting several of CaraGreen’s sustainable brand portfolios to the
residential market, including Durat Solid Surface, PaperStone, GEOS Recycled Glass Surfaces and elementAl surfaces.

Cosentino Upgrades Chicago-based Distribution Center

Cosentino Group has entered into a long-term lease agreement with Brennan Investment Group to occupy 46,800 sq. ft. of a 128,550 sq. ft. building at the Elk Grove Technology Park. The facility will serve as a primary warehouse and distribution center for the company’s Midwest operations.

Elk Grove Technology Park is located northeast of O’Hare International Airport and is less than 25 miles from downtown Chicago.

Ruth Baker of Mohr Partners represented Cosentino Group in the transaction, along with Jack Brennan of CBRE representing Brennan Investment Group.

“While we’ve had a strong presence in the Chicago market for many years, our new occupancy at the Elk Grove Technology Park will be instrumental in drastically improving our service levels and shipping times to our customers,” said Massimo Ballucchi, Cosentino Executive Director of Marketing – Americas. “We are looking forward to the partnership with Brennan Investment Group and all the conveniences and amenities that this industrial development has to offer.”

The Elk Grove Technology Park is a state-of-the-art industrial development that spans 85 acres in the heart of the O’Hare industrial sub-market, with convenient access to three major highways, O’Hare International Airport and a large and diverse labor pool. In addition to the buildings’ modern physical attributes, the Park features an amenity-rich infrastructure of ponds, water features, sculptures, bike and running paths and pedestrian walkways.

Rugby Architectural Building Products Opens New Distribution Facility

Rugby Architectural Building Products has opened a new distribution facility in Grand Prairie, Texas. In early January the newly consolidated Dallas and Fort Worth distribution began operations at its new facilities strategically located at 920 Avenue R.

The 125,000 sq. ft. distribution facility has been configured to accommodate Rugby’s increasing volumes, the diverse product assortment and evolving customer base. One of the most notable improvements and areas of specialization is the creation of a 33,000 sq. ft. will-call facility set within the expansive warehouse. This area is set-up to provide will-call customers with an expedited shopping, buying and procurement experience. Specially trained Rugby will-call staff will assist customers with product selection, technical knowledge and order processing.

The Rugby full-service distribution facility stocks a wide variety of architectural interior building products including decorative surfaces, hardware, lumber, veneers, moulding, sheet goods, Wilsonart laminates, Wilsonart adhesives, Staron solid surface, high gloss panels and more; providing a one stop shop for everything customers need to make residential cabinets or commercial casework.

“After a thorough assessment of the needs of our customers then by matching those needs to the products stocked we believe we have created an industry leading facility for the express benefit of our customers,” said Tommy Heard Central Region General Manager. “Our entire team is excited about this progression in our business and how it will help them provide our customers with the best service in the industry.”

Braxton-Bragg and Alpha Professional Tools have reinstated their business relationship, enabling Braxton-Bragg’s expansion of precision diamond tooling offering for the stone fabrication industry, as well as enhancing tools and equipment for the tile industry. As of June 1, 2018, Braxton-Bragg has Alpha products in stock and ready to ship.

Livingstone Hires Commercial Sales Representative, Opens Distribution Hub

U.S. Surface Warehouse appointed Abigail Landman as the company’s Commercial Sales Representative for Southern California. In her role Landman will be responsible for all commercial sales activities and commercial specifications in the area, working with fabricators, millworks and design professionals, as well as other interested parties. She brings more than 10 years of experience in the surfacing industry. In addition, the company opened a new distribution hub for Livingstone Solid Surface in Cerritos, Calif. that services from Fresno to San Diego, as well as Las Vegas and the entire state of Arizona. In addition to stocking all 46 “SmartPalette” colors, this 30,000-sq.-ft. facility houses solid surface and stainless steel sinks and all matching Seam-It adhesives.

Cosentino Group Buys its Canadian Distributor, Plans additional Canadian Investment

The Cosentino Group has acquired its Canadian distribution partner Maple Terrazzo Inc., just outside of Toronto, for $11 million. According to the company, the acquisition demonstrates its commitment to international expansion by strengthening both its presence and distribution network in priority markets, including Toronto. To date, Cosentino has opened four Cosentino Centers in Canada and invested more than $21 million. Since 2014, the company has opened Centers in Calgary, Vancouver and Montreal. These Centers include functional warehouses, as well as brand and product showrooms supported by sales teams. The company will reportedly continue to increase its commitment to Canada with new investments and facilities, including a second Cosentino Center scheduled to open in 2016 in Montreal.
