Posted on 22 April 2015 by cradmin

alpha PSC-150Alpha Professional Tools introduced the Alpha PSC-150, a new industrial-quality pneumatic stone cutter that is equipped with a 2 hp motor, with a speed governor in the motor that regulates the air consumption according to the torque needed for the application. According to the company the pneumatic-powered motor, limits repair and maintenance when sink hole cutting and groove cutting for rodding applications. The company also offers a carriage that retrofits on the Alpha Guide Rail System to support making precise miter cuts for  lamination. The PSC-150 offers kink-free water and air hoses to help reduce operator fatigue and improve maneuverability. A manifold system is also available to reduce maintenance. It comes with a filter and regulator  to catch moisture and debris. It also comes with an Eclipse II 6-in. turbo blade for granite and engineered stone. alpha tools Dekton bridgesaw blade - Silencer III

The Silencer III bridgesaw blade is one of several new pieces of tooling developed by Alpha Tools for use on Cosentino’s new Dekton product

Alpha Professional Tools has launched a line of tooling specifically developed for use on the new Cosentino Dekton ultracompact sintered material. Because Dekton is quite different than granite or quartz surfacing, it requires dedicated tooling to fabricate successfully. Working with Cosentino, Alpha studied all phases of the material’s fabrication and developed this line of specialized tooling, reports the company. The tooling was tested extensively prior to making the tooling available and these tools are recommended by Cosentino for use on the product. The series includes:
• The Silencer III bridgesaw blade;
• A CNC Core Bit for core drilling for corners of sink and faucet holes;
• The Twincur GEM-V for straight and beveled edge polishing using multiple-head polishing machines; and
• A CNC Finger Bit ffor sink hole cut-outs and any exterior cutting applications.
