The new Weha Large Fabrication Shop Cart was made specifically for large and fragile stone fabrication. As stones get larger, more than 10-ft. and taller up to 80-in., those oversized slabs need a larger cart than the traditional dry wall shop carts.
According to the company this new cart is suitable for all shop needs including marble, granite, quartz, quartzite, onyx, porcelain, sintered stone and more.
The cart is manufactured with 1 1/2-in. diameter pipe with three bolted support bars to handle the weight of the stone. The surface deck is 53-in. long by 16-in. deep and the surface deck also comes with a white rubber mat. Between the support bars next to the surface deck, there is a space of 10-in. for additional storage. This will allow for keeping the entire job, or two, on one shop cart throughout the fabrication process.
For any size island or full slab, it will ride safe with very little stress hanging above. The 2 swivel wheels with locks and 2 fixed wheels are 6-in. diameter and are built to safely hold 2640 lbs.
Additionally, the Weha Large Shop Cart comes with a plastic storage bin for a tape measure, pens, markers, etc. to keep with the cart.
