The Natural Stone Institute is approaching a significant milestone as its Accreditation Program nears 20 years of supporting fabrication and installation companies across the industry.
Since its inception, the program has served as a trusted benchmark for safety, quality, and professionalism; helping companies demonstrate their commitment to best practices while giving project teams confidence in contractor selection.
Today, the program includes 98 accredited fabricators and 23 accredited commercial installers nationwide, with strong representation across regions to support project continuity from specification through completion. Its impact is also reflected at the specification level, with more than 1,400 commercial project specifications now requiring Natural Stone Institute Accreditation.
As regulatory focus on silica safety and compliance continues to evolve, the Accreditation Program plays an increasingly important role in helping companies align with industry standards and implement effective safety practices.
