BACA Systems has been selected as the recipient of the 2017 ISFA Envision Award. The award is given to the ISFA member that excels in creating an imaginative and stand out product for the surfacing industry. During the 2017 ISFA Conference in Cancun, Mexico, Chuck Russo, owner and founder of BACA, accepted the award on behalf of his team.
BACA Systems was nominated for the award in recognition of the envelopment of the ROBO SawJet, which has helped stone fabrication shops revolutionize how they manufacture natural stone, quartz and ultra-compact products. The Robo SawJet offers a high production dual-table cutting system that yields up to 70 percent reduction in labor costs and 20 percent material optimization. Powered by KUKA, Robo SawJet is waterproof and dust proof, making it maintenance proof for the harsh environments of stone manufacturing. Kuka Robotics is BACA Systems’ exclusive partner in the stone industry and was awarded their System Partner of the Year award in early 2017.
