Integra Adhesives Invests in Manufacturing Facility, Lowers Pricing

Integra Adhesives USA Inc. announced a major investment at its manufacturing facility, adding 40 percent production space and drastically increasing its production capacity. Additionally, the investment has allowed the company to lower its fabricator pricing for its most popular colors sold in 250ml cartridges. According to a release by the company, the investment was prompted by growth in the U.S. economy and increased low-cost competition. Integra had already invested in vertical market integration, with its own packaging, mixing and dispensing system in addition to the stone, quartz and solid surface adhesives themselves. This new investment includes increased automation that allows the company to remain competitive by keeping down its labor costs.

“As we are now producing these colors in larger batches, we are in a position to pass on the savings to fabricators” stated the release. “This new pricing affects over 30 different colors that match the majority of commonly used surfaces.”
