Fletcher Building’s Laminates & Panels Division, which consists of 20 manufacturing facilities around the globe – including the Formica Group of companies, has named Paul Zuckerman chief executive – laminates and panels. In his new role, Zucerman will continue to pursue synergies between global operations in the areas of product development, manufacturing, technologies and systems.
Mitch Quint, president of Formica North America, shared: “Paul is a great addition to our global executive team. His leadership will ensure our business benefits from the global leadership structure of Fletcher’s Laminates & Panels Division, ensuring economies of scale and innovation capabilities are optimized across all the division’s markets.”
Paul joined Fletcher Building as chief executive of the steel division in 2007. Paul previously served as president of Greater China within BlueScope Steel Limited, having served in increasingly senior management roles in that company for 11 years. His background also includes eight years at PPG Industries, a leading global manufacturer of industrial coating, glass and chemical products. Paul earned his MBA from The Ohio State University and his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Syracuse University.
