Corian Design Announces Fabricator Webinar Series

Corian® Design announced the schedule for a technical webinar series, Beneath the Surface, focusing on tips and techniques to benefit the fabricator community.

Hosted by the International Surface Fabricators Association (ISFA), the live, three-part series will include sessions in December of 2023 as well as in January and March of 2024, and will be led by Jeffrey Hutchins, DuPont™ Corian® Technical Service Consultant.

Hutchins is a machinist and industrial designer by trade, with six years of experience in Corian fabrication.

The series begins on December 5 with Core Fabrication Techniques for Corian Solid Surface, focusing on the fundamentals of fabricating Corian Solid Surface, including repair techniques and finishing.

The second session is scheduled for January 30, 2024, and will explain advanced techniques with Corian Solid Surface, including dye sublimation, designing for deconstruction and thermoforming.

The final session is planned for March 20, 2024, and the topic is interior cladding with Corian Solid Surface. Attendees will learn the basics of vertical cladding with Corian Solid Surface and see a wall installation demo.

All sessions will be held at 1:00 pm EST direct from the Corian plant facility in Buffalo, New York.
