Cabinet Makers Association Is Looking for Help with a Habitat for Humanity Project in Florida Feb. 20

The Cabinet Makers Association (CMA) is looking for volunteer industry leaders to join them on Friday, Feb. 20, in Winter Haven, Fla., to join them in helping to build an entire kitchen for a Habitat for Humanity home. The organization is looking for 30 people with custom woodworking skills to step up to supply and build the kitchen for this project in a single day. All of the labor, products and materials are 100 percent donated.

The building session is slated to begin at 8:30 a.m. and last until at least 3 p.m. The CMA is asking that those interested in participating sign up in advance and encourages each participating volunteer to provide a cash donation to forward to the local Habitat for Humanity chapter. The suggested donation is $25 per attendee.

Reservations are required to attend, with a limit of two persons per participating shop. Due to space constraints and anticipated participation requests, the CMA must limit this event to the first 30 persons who reserve their spots to volunteer their time. Clear your schedules and make your travel plans to participate in this worthy cause today!

This program is specifically designed for custom cabinet and custom woodworking shop owners and their senior managers. You do not need to be a member of the Cabinet Makers Association to attend.
