Brenda Edwards, owner and general manager of TexaStone Quarries in Garden City, Texas, was the recipient of the first-ever Women in Stone Pioneer Award.
In a career spanning more than 20 years, Edwards has been an active participant in countless industry initiatives and associations. She has held key leadership roles with MIA, BSI, the Natural Stone Council and is currently serving on the transitional MIA+BSI Board of Directors. Brie Pfannenbecker, VP of Operations at Connecticut Stone, agreed with Brenda’s competence and positive impact on the future of the industry.
Brenda Edwards reflected on her involvement with Women in Stone and noted that she was honored to serve and bring recognition the women in the stone industry. Edwards then went on to thank MIA+BSI for making it all possible.
