Blanco, a German manufacturer of sinks and faucets, won the 2013 KBCulture Award for the Blanco Modex kitchen sink workstation. The sink belongs to the company’s Silgranit II collection. Itis also a 2013 IDEA (International Design Excellence Award) Finalist and a 2012 Red Dot International Design Award winner for its distinct raised profile, cubic style and innovative dual draining system.
Noteworthy characteristics of Modex include its resistance to heat, chips, scratches and food acids. It also offers the impervious Hygienic+Plus protection that shields against bacteria and dirt. It comes in three colors: Cinder, Anthracite and White.
