Weha has developed a new steel carbon fiber rodding. The rodding was developed by placing the steel rodding inside eight-strand premium fiberglass, and reinforcing it again with carbon fiberglass. This process prevents rust from occurring on the steel. Additionally, grooves were designed on the rodding to allow glue adhesion and provide increased strength. The steel carbon fiber rodding is sold in 330-ft. rolls and can be cut with bolt cutters.
