Posted on 11 September 2017 by cradmin

Federal Brace Phone ChargerFederal Brace has introduced a wireless cell phone charger. This useful cell phone accessory is outfitted with the latest technology and works with all QI enabled phones and tablets. Many phone models can also be easily and economically modified using a QI enabled case.

Federal Brace released the Counter Mount Cell Phone Charger with a customized steel mount that will enable a safe and secure attachment for the charger with the Foremont counter mount bracket. The cell phone charger will also be available separately for those who would choose to do their own installation on a desk or nightstand.

Federal Brace In Counter Phone ChargerThe chargers themselves do have to be wired, however, the phone does not. Just lay it down and let it charge. Federal Brace has built this technology into a mounting unit. As an accessory to the Foremont Counter Mounted Supports, it attaches in the same fastening hole as the mount for the elevated bracket. An additional hole will be required for the charging wire to fit through. Use without the counter mount bracket by attaching to a desk or a side counter in an out of the way spot with a small hole through which the wire will feed. It is available for purchase with the housing unit or without. The charger meets QI wireless charging standards and uses low standby power.

Wireless Recharging Built into DuPont Corian Solid Surface

Posted on 26 February 2014 by cradmin

Here’s a cool video that features the technology DuPont is working on for its Corian solid surface that it was showcasing at the recent Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas.

DuPont has joined the Power Matters Alliance (PMA) and is working with other PMA members on wireless charging solutions for smartphones and tablets that can be effectively integrated into solid surface tops. Right now this charging technology requires an adapter to be plugged into most phones, but newer smartphones will have the receptors built-in.

The video is not from KBIS, but another show, and gives an idea of how the technology works. It is a bit promotional, but it is such an interesting development, we thought it was worth posting.
