Mystera Thunder

After a hiatus and an apparent change in management, Mystera Acrylic Solid Surface is once again available in the U.S. market. This solid surface uses a unique manufacturing process to create an original style of veining, as well as replicate the look of natural stone. Originally developed in the mid 1990s, the raw material and production processes were upgraded in 2012 under the current ownership to achieve higher performance standards and new visuals. GSP Surfaces, a United States-based company, manufactures Mystera, in addition to making other solid surface products and quartz surface products in factories around the world.

The 16colors in the new Mystera product line were assembled with input from commercial and residential designers. The eight Fusion colors and four Platinum colors are multi-directional with varied levels of pigmentation and intensity of veining (as shown here in the image of the Fusion color “Thunder.” The four new Winsome colors comprise a cascade of linear veins with subtle color changes.
