Global Equipment Group Offers the Denver Skema Hi Tech 5-Axis CNC Bridge Saw

Global Equipment Group skemaHT2Global Equipment Group introduced its latest 5-Axis CNC saw offering, the Denver Skema Hi-Tech CNC bridge saw. Made in Italy, the saw has five fully interpolated axes, allowing for complex cutting, 3-D processing, milling, writing, hollowing, pocketing and polishing. Its ISO-40 center-cooled spindle allows for a wide variety of tools while in the 90 degree position. It uses Taglio CAD/CAM software for slab optimization, vein matching, nesting and 3-D rendering of slabs. It has an extended Y-axis on a monobloc frame, allowing travel up to 104 in. It also has a 22.5 HP direct drive motor; miter tilt to 90 degrees; and optional in-feed and out-feed tables with tilt.

Park Industries Introduces 3 New Models to TITAN CNC Router Line

TITAN-1800_01Park Industries has added three new models to its TITAN CNC Router Line: The TITAN 2600, the TITAN 2700 and the TITAN 2800, brining the total number of machines in the line to six. All of the new models use a 24-HP Quantum Belt Drive Spindle.

Like their 1000 Series predecessors, the new 2000 series of TITAN CNC Router allows users to cut, route, shape and polish stone with fast machine movements. User-friendly interface technology simplifies programming by using a bar code system programmed for specific operations. The routers also use Integrated Tool Management™ system that automatically monitors, measures and compensates for tool wear. The machines’ work surfaces offer dependable holding power and will never corrode or dent, according to the company.

Other features include: Layout and stone image capture capability; laser positioning; and
Owner Protection Services™ that automatically notify users of routine machine maintenance.

Blick Industries Introduces CNC Leathering Tooling

Blick Leatherhead imagesBlick Industries introduced the new Leatherhead, a leathering surface-treatment tooling for use with CNC machinery. The tooling adapts to any 35mm Conic tool holder. It accepts Frankfurt Style brushes or 4-, 5- and 6-in. snail-lock brushes. It can be used on belt-driven and electro-spindle machines. The tooling is 12.75-in. in diameter and weighs 16.5 lbs. (not including brushes or tool holder). Customers can specify through bolt size of M10 or M12. Feed rates are 100 in. per min. and spindle speeds are 1,000 to 1,200 rpm. The company also offers a smaller “Mini Leatherhead” version of the tool with a 5.5-in. diameter.

Park Industries Celebrates 60th Anniversary

Park Industries,  provider of stone working equipment since 1953, is celebrating its 60 year anniversary in the industry. After 60 years, the company, which is the larges manufacturer of stone working equipment in North America, remains family-owned company.
