Those attending AWFS in July may want to sit in on a presentation offered by Tim Northup, Vice President of Finance for Stiles Machinery. The presentation, titled “Understanding the (Ever) Changing World of Finance and Taxes,” offers fundamental yet vital information centered around financing options such as leasing, cash purchase and extended financing with an emphasis on leasing. He will also cover tax incentives, depreciation, write-offs and tax shelters, and IRS tax code the typical accountant may not know about.
Attendees will benefit from a better understanding of the pros and cons of financing alternatives and get acquainted with the most commonly overlooked existing tax benefits. They will also find out about recent changes, available alternatives in the world of financing and industry trends from an economic perspective. This session is appropriate for all size shops.
