ISFA Presents Countertops & Architectural Surfaces Symposium Prior to IWF

This year the International Surface Fabricators Association (ISFA) will once again team up with IWF Atlanta to present The Countertops & Architectural Surfaces Symposium. The full day educational event will take place on August 21, the day before the opening of the show.

Geared toward business owners and key management, the symposium will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and focus on countertop and surfacing needs within the woodworking industry. Speakers and topics of the event will each address a strategy for improving the bottom line.

Speakers include: John Broer, of In2Great, “Using the Predictive Index to Manage Labor Issues”; Jessica McNaughton, Of Caragreen, “Innovative & Sustainable Surfaces: What You Need to Know”; Mari Ivan & Brian Smith of L.E. Smith, “Outsourcing Countertop Fabrication: When to Keep It in House and When to Call an Expert”; Chris Pappenfort of Menders, “Commercial Solid Surface Fabrication: Challenges & Solutions”; and Piergiorgio Mazzetta of Laminam, “Surfaces Translated.”

Registration cost for the symposium includes coffee and pastries, lunch and a full pass to the IWF exhibit hall for the show.

Following the symposium, attendees and any interested fabricators are invited to attend a Pre-IWF ISFA networking event hosted by Cosentino. Those interested in attending the networking event will gather near the Atlanta Congress Center where Cosentino will provide transportation to its Atlanta Cosentino Center. Along with a tour of the facility, cocktails and appetizers will be provided. There is no cost to attend the networking event.
